Plante grapes

The presence of the plants of grape and wine given in our country at least the Bronze Age thanks to the findings in Sardinia, demonstrating how plants grapes and wine were traded in the Mediterranean basin.

The grape plants can be divided according to the destinations of the fruits: plants of table grapes and plant wine grapes.

There are several plants of table grapes, for example:
Cardinal, Moscato, Zibibbo, Pizzutello, Carnelian, Matilde, black queen.

Plants of wine grapes, to name just some of the many varieties:
Aglianico del Vulture, Bombino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Falanghina, Fiano, Greek, Lambrusco, Malvasia Bianca, Malvasia Nera, Merlot, Montepulciano, Moscato, Nebbiolo, Negro Amaro, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Prosecco, Primitivo, Sangiovese , Sauvignon, Trebbiano, Verdicchio, Vernaccia.

The main differences that distinguish them are mainly in the fruit: for plants of table grapes they prefer bunches with grapes taste sweeter and lower presence of acids; plants of wine grapes are characterized by higher acidity and grape with less pulp, and less crunchy skin.
