HOOK WITJ BIOPOLYMERS

This type of hook, which is used for tying the rows, has been entirely contrived to be used in viticulture.

It has been created with the use of polylactic acid (PLA), a polymer obtained through corn fermentation which makes it unique in its kind, in fact, unlike hooks created utilizing traditional plastic and products made of pressed chestnut wood, there hooks are entirely biodegradable hence once they are no longer utilized they can be left in the soil where they are 100% converted into carbon dioxide and humus

 

What is a Biopolymer

The term biopolymer is used to indicate all the polymers which can be transformed entirely into carbon dioxide and water with humus.Therefore, these are entirely biodegradable materials.

What is Polylactic

Polylactic, or Polylactic Acid, is a polymer derived entirely from organic material, generally corn. Its main characteristic is that it possesses all the thermo moldable properties of plastic but, unlike plastic materials derived from petrol, they are entirely biodegradable.

This type of hook is made from wood fibers pressed, without the addition of glue or synthetic binders.

These hooks are completely biodegradable are made from materials free of heavy metals and also does not oxidize the metal wires of the system, they are environmentally friendly and above all thanks to the new form, are very practical to install.

They are an excellent solution to keep the tension of the two parallel wires.

Thanks to its new shape, can be easily dismantled, with an energetic action of tearing.

Considering that are environmentally friendly and biodegradable, the fall in the ground, within a few months turn into fertilizer.
