The equivalence of diameters between GRP and PVC is half:

  •      VTR 8 mm - 16 mm PVC (reinforced)

PRODUCTION PROCESS: THE PULTRUSION

The pultrusion, or "extrusion pertrazione", is a continuous process used to produce reinforced polymer profiled. The reinforcing fibers, such as possone be for example the glass fiber and carbon fiber, are removed from the creel and passed through a so-called impregnation bath where they are linked to the matrix from the resin. At the exit from the oven the section is transported to a cutting zone where it is cut by blades opportinamente that the dimensions of.At the end of the machine of pultrusion we find the traction system, placed far enough away than the phono of care, in order to allow optimum cooling to the profile, to avoid deformation during the cooling phase .
