The tensioning collars are essential for a perfect stretching of wires and cables. These elements provide also the re-stressing during ordinary maintenance of the systems in a simple and fast way, enough to decrease ten times the cost of maintenance: they are indeed necessary 20 hours of maintenance for one hectare of hail, which are reduced to 2 hours if the system is provided with the thread-tensioner collars. In addition, the tensioners are designed to allow the implementation of the mechanization operations, avoiding the risk that some pieces of metal comes off causing a damage. This type of stretching allows a safer and cleaner work. The tensioners have an incorporated thread-tensioner which allows an optimal stretching of the wire. In fact, the film has a hexagonal section that allows to record the stretching up to 1 / 12 of a turn and the housing of the wire is fully rounded, not to damage in any way the wire under tension.
